TERMS OF SERVICE

 Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

1. ABOUT US

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that lets us sell our products to you.

2. USING OUR WEBSITE

- You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
- You agree to give accurate and complete information when you order, including your name, address, email and payment details.
- You must not use the website for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or try to interfere with how it works.

3. PRODUCTS

- We try to show our products, packaging and colours as accurately as possible, but images are for illustration and the actual item may look slightly different on your screen.
- Fragrance notes describe the scent profile. How a fragrance smells can vary from person to person.
- Our perfumes contain alcohol and fragrance ingredients that may cause a reaction in some people. Please check the ingredients on the packaging and do a patch test before first use. Stop using a product if irritation occurs.
- Perfume is flammable. Keep it away from heat and open flames, and out of reach of children.
- All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities or stop selling a product at any time.

4. ORDERS

- When you place an order, you'll receive an email confirming we've received it. This is not acceptance of your order.
- A contract between you and us is formed when we email you to confirm your order has been dispatched.
- We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, there is an obvious pricing error, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you've paid, we'll refund you in full.
- You can also order by WhatsApp. The same terms apply to WhatsApp orders.

5. PRICES AND PAYMENT

- Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
- We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders we've already accepted.
- If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price, we'll contact you before dispatch to let you either pay the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund.
- Payment is taken when you place your order, through our secure checkout. We don't store your full card details.

6. DELIVERY

- We deliver across the United Kingdom using tracked services. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are not guaranteed.
- Delays can sometimes happen for reasons outside our control. If your order hasn't arrived within 30 days, you can cancel it for a full refund.
- The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the order is delivered to the address you gave us.
- For orders outside the UK, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes and fees charged by your country.

7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

You can cancel your order and return items as set out in our Returns & Refunds policy (caliph.online/pages/returns-and-refunds), which forms part of these terms. This includes your 14-day right to cancel and your rights if an item is faulty.

8. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES

Discount codes and offers are subject to their own conditions, may have an expiry date, can't be exchanged for cash, and usually can't be combined with other offers unless we say so.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the website, including the CALIPH name and logo, text, images, videos and designs, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU

- If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence.
- We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for reactions caused by misuse of a product or failure to follow the usage guidance.
- We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal strikes, severe weather or supplier problems. If this happens, we'll contact you and you can cancel your order for a refund of anything you've paid for products not received.

12. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy (caliph.online/policies/privacy-policy).

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

14. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we'll do our best to resolve it.
